The UAE has announced the commercial launch and full operational readiness of the UAE Sovereign Launchpad, a secure cloud and AI platform built for government entities and regulated industries. The platform is powered by AWS, delivered by e&enterprise and endorsed by the UAE Cybersecurity Council (CSC), aligning directly with the UAE National Cyber Security Strategy and the National Cloud Security Policy.
Hosted in the AWS Middle East (UAE) Region and managed in-country by e&enterprise, the Sovereign Launchpad enables government agencies and regulated organisations in healthcare, finance, education, space, oil and gas and non-profits to deploy all workloads except those classified as Secret or Top Secret. It offers data residency, advanced governance controls, zero-trust security features, automated compliance reporting and cost-efficient cloud scalability, providing a faster pathway to secure adoption of cloud and AI technologies.
The Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government and Chairman of the CSC, Mohamed Al Kuwaiti said the platform is a milestone for the nation’s digital transformation. “This collaboration demonstrates how we can leverage global cloud innovation while adhering to the UAE National Cloud Security Policy. We are enabling government and regulated industries to accelerate cloud and AI adoption, enhance cyber resilience and reinforce the UAE’s position as a leader in secure digital innovation,” explained Kuwaiti.
e&enterprise Chief Executive Officer Khalid Murshed said organisations can now migrate to the cloud with confidence. “Together with AWS and the UAE Cybersecurity Council, we are empowering organisations to meet regulatory demands without compromising innovation or agility,” noted Murshed. The Managing Director and VP of AWS in EMEA,Tanuja Randery added that the launch marks a pivotal step for regional cloud transformation, combining AWS security and innovation with local regulatory and cybersecurity standards.
First announced in May 2025, the UAE Sovereign Launchpad supports the We the UAE 2031 vision by providing a trusted, compliant foundation for the public and private sectors to modernise securely in the cloud while strengthening national digital resilience. The service is now available through e&enterprise, with organisations able to begin with a readiness assessment or move directly into production deployment.
