New security broom at Fortinet

Vishak Raman has been appointed as the Vice President of Sales for India, SAARC, and Southeast Asia by Fortinet, a global leader in broad, integrated, and automated cybersecurity solutions.

Vishak Raman has over two decades of experience in cybersecurity, with a track record of success in product management, sales, marketing, and business development. He was previously the Senior Regional Director, India and SAARC at Fortinet, where he was responsible for establishing and growing the company’s technology leadership and success in India. He also established a first-of-its-kind Technical Assistance Centre in Bangalore, which employs over 200 engineers who provide Fortinet’s customers in India and the Middle East with round-the-clock support.

Prior to Fortinet, he was Director of Security Business, India, and SAARC at Cisco. Vishak who holds an engineering degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from IIM Ahmedabad has also worked in various roles at FireEye, Tata Communications, WatchGuard, Sify and HCl Technologies.
