With a record-breaking 1,412 entries across 15 categories, the awards showcase the innovation and dedication driving the industry forward.
This year, the Intersec Awards have expanded their scope to include new categories such as Excellence in Testing, Evaluation, and Certification, Chief Information Security Officer of the Year, and Consulting Leadership in Fire Safety, Security, and Cybersecurity. These additions highlight the evolving landscape of security and the growing importance of cybersecurity in today’s interconnected world.
Among the notable finalists are Emirates Safety Laboratory, UL Solutions, and the Fire Protection Association, all vying for the Excellence in Testing, Evaluation, and Certification Award. In the Chief Information Security Officer of the Year category, a competitive field includes industry leaders from Zimmer Biomet, FBN, Huawei Technologies, and more.
The Rising Star Award for Emirati Talent continues to celebrate the achievements of young professionals in the industry, with finalists including Lt. Col. Dr. Humaid Al Ali, Dr Maryam Bin Essa, and Khalifa Al Kaabi. The Women Trailblazers in Security/Fire Safety Award recognizes the contributions of female leaders, featuring Dr. Naseem Rafee, Salma Al Ali, and Rawda AlSuwaidi.

Intersec 2025, the region’s premier security, safety, and fire protection trade fair, will take place from January 14-16 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event is expected to attract over 1,200 exhibitors from 60 countries and more than 52,000 visitors.
